1. All players, members and guests of members, must register at the Tennis Pro Shop before playing. The member is responsible for registering the guest with the tennis staff.
2. A guest may use the courts only when accompanied by a member or sponsored by a member. A guest may be invited to use the courts 3 times per season if they reside less than a 40-mile radius of the club. The fee for a guest is $10.
COURT RESERVATIONS
Court reservations are to be administered by the tennis director under the following guidelines:
- Reservations may be made by calling the tennis pro shop. Reservations may also be made by registering in the master court sheets located in the tennis pro shop.
- Reservations may be made after 9:00 am, seven days in advance of the scheduled time.
- If players previously reserving the court appear late, they have the right to the remainder of the time of the court reservation.
- If the courts have not been reserved, courts are available on a first come basis. Before walking onto a court, please check in to assure availability.
- Court reservations are a maximum 1.5 hours for singles and 2 hours for doubles.
- Cancellations of court reservations should be called in to free reserved court time.
HAR-TRU COURTS
- Adults have priority over juniors before noon and after 5:00 pm on weekdays and on the weekends. Juniors may make reservations on the Har-Tru courts between 1:00-5:00 pm, Monday thru Friday. Juniors are any players under 18 years of age.
- Special events and instructional programs by the Tennis Director take priority over random play.
MISCELLANEOUS
1. An adult or guardian should supervise children under eight (8) years of age at all times.
2. Tennis only on the courts.
3. Smooth soled tennis shoes only on Har-Tru courts. No running shoes or cross-trainers allowed.
4. Non-marking shoes only on the hard courts.
5. Smoking is prohibited on the tennis courts.
6. Towels are a courtesy of the club; they may be taken out onto the courts. Please return all towels to the pro shop when finished playing.
7. Players are expected to wear appropriate tennis attire and should be neat in appearance. No cut-off jeans or cut-off shirts are permitted.
8. Proper tennis etiquette should be exercised at all times. Disruptive and boisterous conduct will not be tolerated on or off the courts. Players should use good sportsmanship at all times.
